Breakfast Forum on Disengagement and Reintegration

At the African Regional High-Level Conference on Counter-Terrorism and the Prevention of Violent Extremism Conducive to Terrorism, co-convened by Kenya and the United Nations at the UN Office at Nairobi, Martin Kimani — Kenya's Special Envoy for Countering Violent Extremism and Director of the National Counter Terrorism Centre — moderated a side-event Breakfast Forum on Disengagement and Reintegration, co-organized with the Embassy of Denmark and the International Organization for Migration, on the reintegration of former al-Shabaab fighters into their communities.
